"The beginning of Season Two is a big Joker-oriented, or ‘how the Joker came to be’ kind of story. The beginning of Season Two is the very earliest origins of how The Joker came to be."
Will this be the continuing tale of Jerome, the young man many believe is the Joker? It has been said that we will see more of Jerome’s story in season two, but whether he is the Joker or not, no one is outright saying. I’m pretty sure they’ll be throwing a few more possible Jokers our way just to make us not 100% sure, but expect to see both the clown prince of crime’s origin and more of Jerome in season two of Gotham.
