This is it. Everything in Gotham has been building up to this season finale episode, All Happy Families Are Alike. After her harrowing escape from Dulmacher’s private island, Fish Mooney is ready to exact revenge on the people who wronged her — namely Oswald Cobblepot and Sal Maroni.
Maroni, though, may not even have Fish on his radar since he’ll be preoccupied with his newly erupted war against Carmine Falcone, something Oswald purposely started.
On Jim Gordon’s side of things, it seems that Barbara Kean’s experience with the Ogre has left her a little off. The combination of her obsession to get Gordon back paired with her trauma may make Barbara do some pretty crazy things — like violently go after Leslie Thompkins.
With allegations from Sid Bunderslaw that Thomas Wayne was complicit in Wayne Enterprises’ corruption, Bruce Wayne has gone ahead and put his father on the list of suspects he’s investigating. However, it seems that from the promo, Bruce may find something unexpected — and something that will play a large part in his future “crusade.” Here’s the official synopsis for All Happy Families Are Alike:
"As Gotham City’s gang war reaches its boiling point, Fish Mooney goes head-to-head with Maroni and Penguin in an attempt to re-stake her claim on the city. Meanwhile, Barbara and Leslie Thompkins are brought together after recent events, and Bruce searches Wayne Manor for any hints that his father might have left behind in the all-new “All Happy Families Are Alike” Season Finale episode of GOTHAM airing Monday, May 4th on FOX."
And, of course, the exciting trailer for the season finale:
