Impossible, you say? Maybe not, because even though we don’t reside in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we do live in an age of wonders.
Thus, in the nifty infographic below, you can check out a real time approximation of how ticket sales for Avengers: Age of Ultron are faring. It’s got both domestic and international totals, and while these aren’t official numbers — the graphic works by taking daily estimates provided by Box Office Mojo and averaging them out over time — it’s still a pretty darn cool way of showing how the film is raking in the dough.
The infographic is the product of Retale, a free shopping app available for both iOS and Android that uses location info from mobile devices to allow users to search for products and find where to buy them, create and manage shopping lists and clip and store coupons. It’s a formula that has already proven successful overseas and now has its eye on North America as well.
As for how Age of Ultron is tracking, we already know that it fell short of the all-time opening weekend record set by The Avengers. Still, $191 million is nothing to sneeze at, and the second weekend totals should tell us a lot about where its final box office haul will eventually end up. The Avengers had already surpassed $400 million when it completed two full weeks of release, so that’s the number to watch for now — and thanks to Retale’s infographic, you can do that right here.
