George Clooney Apologizes For ‘Batman & Robin’. Again.

facebooktwitterreddit

Because it can never be said enough, former Caped Crusader George Clooney apologized for Batman and Robin while doing press for Tomorrowland on The Graham Norton Show.

"I always apologize for Batman & Robin…I thought at the time this was going to be a very good career move. Um, it wasn’t."

Too true, George, too true. He goes on the describe the entire enterprise a ‘disaster’ and goes into detail about how ridiculous Joel Schumacher is as a director. Check out the video:

Batman and Robin ruined all the credibility that Tim Burton had earned for his first two Bat-films and set superhero movies back for years. It wasn’t until 2005’s Batman Begins before we would get anything of merit from DC again.

Here are some ‘highlights’ from the 1997 film.

You’re welcome.
