Hawkeye Gets Real
The horrors of war finally hit Scarlet Witch as Hawkeye grabs her and they both dive into a dilapidated building for some temporary cover. Peering through windows and bullet holes, Hawkeye fights with his usual tenacity, but Scarlet Witch is frozen with fear and guilt.
To break her out of her state, he gives her a pep talk that is both humorous and inspiring. Starting off by acknowledging the ridiculousness of the situation — a flying city, them fighting robots, and him armed with only a bow and arrow — Hawkeye ends the effective speech by telling Scarlet Witch that if she chooses to fight alongside them, she will be considered an Avenger.
