Sun’s Gettin’ Real Low
When Black Widow first met Bruce Banner in The Avengers (2012), she feared his transformation into the Hulk. That fear became reality when Banner lost it on the Helicarrier.
It seems that between the first film and the second, the two have become close and Black Widow is actually a pacifier to our favorite green giant. After the initial battle in Sokovia, it’s clear that the Hulk’s services were done for the day. To allow Banner to “come back”, Black Widow recites the phrase, “Hey big guy. Sun’s gettin’ real low.” And she approaches him almost flirtatiously, giving him the slightest touch. The creature of anger and rage quickly starts to stumble and transforms back into Banner.
