Expect To See More Harvey Dent In Season 2 Of Gotham
Nicholas D’Agosto plays young ambitious district attorney Harvey Dent on Gotham. You didn’t see a lot of him in season one, but expect that to change as he’s been upgraded to a series regular for season 2.

Nicholas D’Agosto joins the ranks of Morena Baccarin, who was also recently promoted to a series regular for Gotham’s upcoming season. One other person who may return as a series regular as well is Chris Chalk as Lucius Fox, but nothing has been confirmed on that front.
While I think D’Agosto has done a fine job as a young Harvey Dent, I really hope he never becomes Two-Face in the course of the show. One of the complaints against Gotham has been how they are having characters appear before Batman, but Batman isn’t responsible for the creation of any of those villains. Batman didn’t create Penguin or Scarecrow or Riddler. Harvey Dent was a dear friend of Bruce Wayne and him not being able to save Harvey from becoming Two-Face is an important aspect of the character’s history. What they should show is Harvey Dent’s dark side. Bring out “Big Bad Harv”, but never have Harvey Dent actually become Two-Face during the actual run of Gotham.
