When Is Gotham Season One Hitting Your Streaming Service?
So, we know the first season of Gotham will be available on streaming service giant Netflix before anywhere else. But will it come to other services, and when?

Of course if you want to just buy Gotham season one digitally and stream it, you can do that right now from Amazon. But according to NewDVDReleaseDates.com, the first season of Gotham will be available for streaming starting on September 8th. Interestingly enough, that’s the same day Amazon lists the first season of Gotham coming out on Blu-Ray & DVD. So if you have Netflix and don’t care about extras (or the extras are pretty sparse, but I hope not, I really want some commentaries and a blooper reel), you can get Gotham Season One on Netflix the same day it’s available on Blu-Ray & DVD, which is certainly rare if not a first for a TV show.
The site also mentions that Gotham will be available on Amazon Instant & iTunes September 23rd. This is odd because of course the season is already available for purchase. So does this mean it’ll be available for prime members or have special features included for digital purchase on September 23rd? Assuming this is true we’ll just have to wait and see.
UPDATE: This seems to be a really popular post, so I feel the need to update it and clarify that Gotham is actually going to be on Netflix September 21st, not September 8th as originally reported. We did post that news as soon as what’s coming to Netflix in September was available, and you can read all about that here.
