New Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice Costume Images
By Steve Lam
As we approach closer and closer to the release date of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, WB/DC gets a bit warmer with their fans. From Den of Geek, we have new images of the costumes for DC’s famous trinity — Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman. The new pics are shown in a much brighter light and puts to rest the complaint that our heroes look too dark and gloomy.
Prominently displayed on mannequins and behind glass display cases, these Dawn of Justice costumes really bring to life DC’s most valuable properties. Superman’s attire is looking as powerful and regal as ever. The bright blue and red textured suit really emphasizes the Kryptonian’s power and greatness. Batman finally gets his grey garb — just like the comics — after years of monochrome black suits sported by the multiple silver screen incarnations of the Dark Knight. However, I’m most impressed with Wonder Woman’s costume. The more I see it, the more I’m liking it. Director Zack Snyder and crew have really struck a balance between ancient Greek goddess and modern heroine.
These new images are getting me even more excited for March 2016. When these three heroes come together for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, it will be a vision to be remembered. Justice League fanboys are definitely salivating at their monitors right now.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has a United States release date of March 25, 2016. It will be directed by Zack Snyder, written by Chris Terrio from a story by David Goyer and Zack Snyder, and will star Henry Cavill as Clark Kent / Superman, Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne / Batman, Gal Gadot as Diana Prince / Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Tao Okamoto as Mercy Graves, Holly Hunter as a United States Senator, Ray Fisher as Victor Stone / Cyborg, and Callan Mulvey, Scoot McNairy, and Jena Malone in unspecified roles.
