Maybe the Avengers don’t have to wait long to actually meet Star-Lord. In a humorous and generous tweet from Marvel Cinematic Universe godfather Kevin Feige, the producer congratulated Jurassic World and its team in breaking the all-time opening weekend record set by The Avengers in 2012.

The tweet strikes the perfect balance of passing on the mantle and giving the competition an air of warmth. It also seems to foreshadow the meeting between Chris Pratt’s Star-Lord with Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. Marvel Studios certainly understands that Hollywood is not about a dog-eat-dog world. Filmmaking is a cooperative effort and you’ll never know who you’ll be working with next.
And speaking of next, Marvel’s newest movie, Ant-Man, will be released on July 17, 2016, giving the studio another chance at breaking some records. If you can’t win being big, then try doing it small.
