Via Heroic Hollywood we’ve learned how Aquaman will make his appearance in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
WARNING: Spoilers ahead
The Flash’s cameo was revealed earlier yesterday. But what about Aquaman? Here’s how he makes his “appearance” in the film.
In Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, there is a scene where Batman breaks into Lexcorp/Cadmus and hacks into the facility’s computers. Bringing up surveillance footage, Batman sees the following:
- The first is The Flash as a blur stopping a robbery, and the second is …
- Aquaman being held prisoner in a containment chamber where we only see his hand slap against the glass.
We always guessed that Aquaman would have minimal involvement in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and this certainly confirms it. Knowing that Snyder and company are going to have a laser-like focus on the story — and not involve too many characters — is a breath of fresh air and a confidence builder. Now, the only thing left is to see how Wonder Woman will have her cameo. From the looks of the promotional material released so far, her part might be a bit larger, but shouldn’t be anything that would distract from the main plot of the film.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has a United States release date of March 25, 2016. It will be directed by Zack Snyder, written by Chris Terrio from a story by David Goyer and Zack Snyder, and will star Henry Cavill as Clark Kent / Superman, Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne / Batman, Gal Gadot as Diana Prince / Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Tao Okamoto as Mercy Graves, Holly Hunter as a United States Senator, Ray Fisher as Victor Stone / Cyborg, and Callan Mulvey, Scoot McNairy, and Jena Malone in unspecified roles.
