X-Men: Apocalypse – Archery Lesson With Jean Grey

Director Bryan Singer shared another X-Men: Apocalypse behind-the-scenes clip today.  This time, he’s teaching Sophie Turner — who plays Jean Grey — some archery skills.  Singer seems to be pretty good at it and can probably give Hawkeye a good run for his money.

The actress seems to be pretty impressed.  And from my limited lip reading skills, she seems to say something along the lines of “that’s amazing!”

Other than the video, Singer doesn’t give any other information or context as to what the scene is about.  My guess is that Jean Grey is probably still developing her powers during the events of X-Men: Apocalypse, and she’s honing her telekinetic abilities by bending the path of an arrow.  What do you think?  Share your thoughts in the comments.

X-Men: Apocalypse has a planned release date of May 27, 2016 and will be directed by Bryan Singer and written by Simon Kinberg, Dan Harris, and Michael Dougherty, and will star James McAvoy as Charles Xavier / Professor X, Michael Fassbender and Ian McKellan as Erik Lehnsherr / Magneto, Jennifer Lawrence as Raven Darkhölme, Nicholas Hout as Hank McCoy / Beast, Evan Peters as Peter Maximoff / Quicksilver, Oscar Isaac as En Sabah Nur / Apocalypse, Alexandra Shipp as Ororo Munroe / Storm, Sophie Turner as Jean Grey, Tye Sheridan as Scott Summers / Cyclops, Rose Burne as Moira MacTaggert, Kodi Smit-McPhee as Kurt Wagner / Nightcrawler, Lana Condor as Jubilation Lee, Ben Hardy as Warren Worthington III / Angel, Olivia Munn as Betsy Braddock / Psylocke, and Lucas Till as Alex Summers / Havok.
