X-Men: Apocalypse Shakes Things Up
By Steve Lam
Director Bryan Singer is at it again sharing a cryptic video of a scene being filmed for X-Men: Apocalypse. This time, it’s a timelapse video of a motion base being used. What’s inside of it is a mystery to anyone not working on the film. Fan speculation have ranged from the arrival of Apocalypse, where he shakes the ground, to Storm demonstrating her mutant powers.
Just a few days ago, Singer shared a video of the crew filming a secret scene in the underground hallway of the X-Mansion. As of now, any guesses for what’s being filmed — or shaken — in the motion base is up for grabs. Truly, the sky’s the limit here. Why? Because X-Men: Apocalypse boasts one of the biggest cast rosters in its franchise history, so it could be any of the mutants showing their stuff. What do you think is being filmed? X-Men: Apocalypse has a planned release date of May 27, 2016 and will be directed by Bryan Singer and written by Simon Kinberg, Dan Harris, and Michael Dougherty, and will star James McAvoy as Charles Xavier / Professor X, Michael Fassbender and Ian McKellan as Erik Lehnsherr / Magneto, Jennifer Lawrence as Raven Darkhölme, Nicholas Hout as Hank McCoy / Beast, Evan Peters as Peter Maximoff / Quicksilver, Oscar Isaac as En Sabah Nur / Apocalypse, Alexandra Shipp as Ororo Munroe / Storm, Sophie Turner as Jean Grey, Tye Sheridan as Scott Summers / Cyclops, Rose Burne as Moira MacTaggert, Kodi Smit-McPhee as Kurt Wagner / Nightcrawler, Lana Condor as Jubilation Lee, Ben Hardy as Warren Worthington III / Angel, Olivia Munn as Betsy Braddock / Psylocke, and Lucas Till as Alex Summers / Havok.
