‘Batman v Superman’ Poised to Take over Comic-Con

Since Marvel Studios – who has dominated the news on the main stage in Hall H in the last few years – is skipping a presentation at Comic-Con this year, DC and WB are poised to make a HUGE showing. With their rebooted cinematic universe kicking things into high gear, the studio is rumored to take full advantage of a captive audience.

Not only are Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad slated for next year, but the company has expressed an intent to release up to 10 DC films between now and 2020. They’ve been pulling out all the stops at every major publicity event so far this year, including the Licensing Expo in Las Vegas. I’d expect to see some cool things from the movies in production now, but don’t be surprised if you see some shocking (or at least unseen) announcements for upcoming projects. This will likely include Jeremy Lin’s Aquaman and details on The Flash and Wonder Woman.

On top of that, you can expect a huge presentation for DC TV, including Gotham season 2, The Flash, Arrow, Legends of the Future, iZombie, Lucifer and Teen Titans.

Comic-Con will run from July 9-12 on the bay in sunny San Diego Be jealous.
