I usually don’t pay attention to gossip sites, but today, they’re reporting something that’s very important to us comic book fans. TMZ is now breaking the news that on Sunday, June 28, 2015, 92-year old Marvel Comics legend Stan Lee was rushed to the hospital after he called 911.
Lee was taken from his Hollywood Hills home and brought to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where he was examined. The report states that he called 911 due to “not feeling well”, and that the nature of the emergency is still unclear. The good news is that the Spider-Man creator is now at home and on the mend.
Stan Lee, showing more resilience than the Hulk, has told TMZ that he will be at the Ant-Man premiere red carpet event on Monday, June 29, 2015.
I think it goes without saying that everyone is wishing him a speedy recovery, and looking forward to his many future cameos in Marvel films.
