Ant-Man: First Time Shrinking Extended Clip

The much hyped Ant-Man red carpet premiere event was tonight.  And though most of the general population couldn’t attend it and had to settle for watching a live stream, Marvel Studios didn’t leave us high and dry.  To give fans a little gift, the studio released an extended clip of Scott Lang / Ant-Man using the suit’s shrinking abilities for the first time.  Going by the radio communication between Scott and Hank Pym (the original Ant-Man), it seems that this is a little test to see how our hero will handle things under pressure.

It just goes to show that action and thrills don’t have to be giant-sized or span continents.  You can pretty much find it right in the comforts … or discomforts … of your own bathroom.

Set to release in the United States on July 17, 2015, Ant-Man will close out Phase Two of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The film is being directed by Peyton Reed, written by Gabriel Ferrari, Andrew Barrer, and Adam McKay, and starring Paul Rudd as Scott Lang / Ant-Man, Evangeline Lilly as Hope Van Dyne, Corey Stoll as Darren Cross / Yellowjacket, Bobby Cannavale as Paxton, Michael Peña as Luis, Judy Greer as Maggie, Tip “T.I.” Harris as Dave, David Dastmalchian as Kurt, Wood Harris as Gale, Jordi Mollà as Castillo, and Michael Douglas as Dr. Hank Pym / Ant-Man.
