SDCC 2015: Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice Confirmed For Hall H Panel

The initial description for the Warner Bros. panel in Hall H on the Saturday of Comic-Con didn’t give very much away. All it read was, “A ‘sneak peek’ at a few upcoming releases from Warner Bros.” Think people were anxious to find out whether or not one of those releases was Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice?

Yes they were, and yes it is. Warner Bros. confirmed today that not only will Batman v Superman be featured in one of the sneak peeks, but talent from that movie will appear at the panel as well. Specifically, we can expect to see Ben Affleck (Batman), Henry Cavill (Superman), Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman),Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Jesse Eisenberg (Lex Luthor), Jeremy Irons (Alfred Pennyworth) and Holly Hunter (a U.S. Senator, apparently), along with director Zack Snyder.

The other movies WB has announced for the panel are Pan and The Man From U.N.C.L.E., though its announcement also promised other movies not yet ready to be revealed. For comic book fans, this could end up being doubly exciting, because one of those films could be Suicide Squad. Considering it should definitely have footage to show and would make a stir if some of its stars made a surprise appearance at the panel — even just Will Smith and Jared Leto alone would probably cause a stir — it wouldn’t be smart to bet against the David Ayer flick getting included.

The Warner Bros. presentation is scheduled for 10:30 am to noon Pacific time on Saturday, July 11, leading off the Hall H schedule for that day, and is likely to be covered by every media outlet that can get someone inside for it.
