Everything we know about All-New, All Different’s Venom: Spaceknight so far

Flash Thompson’s Venom has spent most of the last year parading around with the Guardians of the Galaxy. However, bar the three issue Planet of the Symbiotes storyline, many have complained that Venom’s impact on space has been null and void. Cue ‘Venom: Spaceknight’

I’m sure you’ll all agree that it’s pretty awesome that Venom/Flash Thompson is getting his own solo comic title and I’d hope that this will go some way to alleviate people’s frustration with Venom not being much of a factor in space so far. He has his own title now!

‘Sometimes a hero needs a little space’ is the tag-line which is fairly self-explanatory, albeit making a rather bad ‘space’ pun. But what else does the front cover tell us? Well, Venom is keeping his new look that he got from the planet of the symbiotes and is now being called Spaceknight, because why on Earth not?

He seems to be helping some smaller aliens escape from terrifying space-fish with ‘Alien’ like mouths within mouths. So I’d wager it’s going to be Venom’s hijinks in space helping good aliens by fighting against bad aliens. This also means that Venom will still be part of the All-New, All-Different Guardians of the Galaxy team, which looks like this now.

I think it’s a given that you can expect Groot, Rocket, Thing, Drax and Kitty Pryde’s Star-Lady (Lord) to make cameo’s throughout Venom: Spaceknight’s run and the two titles to have minor (maybe major) tie-ins. So it might be worth picking up Guardians of the Galaxy.
