SDCC 2015: Jesse Eisenberg Really Doesn’t Get It
By Skip Harvey
I don’t know if you’re aware, but new Lex Luthor Jesse Eisenberg just doesn’t get it. He really doesn’t seem to take comics seriously, he thinks the characters in Batman v Superman involved are cheesy and he really doesn’t like Comic-Con.

He came to SDCC for the first time this weekend and it was glaringly obvious he didn’t want to be there. Even more so than Ben Affleck, who seemed down and annoyed until it was time to play along.

When asked about the Con experience afterward, Eisenberg had this to say about the whole shebang.
"It’s is like being screamed at by thousands of people. I don’t know what the experience is throughout history, probably some kind of genocide. I can’t think of anything that’s equivalent."

Well, isn’t that sad? At the panel he talked about how he basically had to look past the silliness of the character and have writer Chris Terrio explain it all to him.
He just didn’t get it.
