Joss Whedon Returns to Comics

My favorite announcement from San Diego Comic Con 2015 was Joss Whedon returning to comics with Twist. We know little more than it will be a Dark Horse property featuring a new character Whedon describes as a “Victorian female Batman,” and he is happy to be shifting down from a grueling year of making movies. The Buffy comic has had its ups and downs, but it has consistently shown Whedon’s love for a textured and diverse portrayal of women. I am excited to see what he can explore in a Victorian setting.
