Via Entertainment Weekly, we have confirmation that Natalie Alyn Lind has been cast in the role of Silver St. Cloud in Season 2 of Fox’s Gotham.  The character has been described as “an ethereal beauty with the pristine manners of a Gotham debutante.”

According to Entertainment Weekly, the character of Silver St. Cloud will, at first, seem to be a perfect match with Bruce, but her dark side will later emerge.

"Add in the fact that she lost her parents at a young age, and it’s understandable why she and Bruce end up drawn to each other … And as Bruce’s friend — and love interest — Silver introduces Bruce to her uncle Theo Galavan, who just so happens to be a billionaire philanthropist who’s running for Mayor. Needless to say, Bruce finds a father figure in Theo, but as for Silver, well, she’s described as having a heart beating with dark intent. In other words, she’s probably not someone Bruce wants to fall for."

Natalie Alyn Lind made her debut in One Tree Hill.  She is most known for the recurring role of Dana Caldwell in The Goldbergs.  Lind has also appeared in Army Wives, Blood Done Sign My Name, Kaboom, Flashpoint, iCarly, Criminal Minds, November Christmas, Wizards of Waverly Place, Dear Dumb Diary, and Mockingbird.

Created by Steve Englehart and Mike Gold, the character of Silver St. Cloud made her first appearance in Detective Comics #470 (June 1977).  Silver became Bruce Wayne’s main love interest in the Batman: Strange Apparitions collection which reprinted Detective Comics #469 – #476, #478, and #479.  She is one of the few characters to discover that Bruce Wayne is Batman.  She later appeared in the Legends of the Dark Knight story arc Siege, the Batman: Dark Detective story arc (sequel to Batman: Strange Apparitions), and Batman: The Widening Gyre.

Fox’s Gotham will be Silver St. Cloud’s first appearance outside of comics.  As of this report, it’s unknown which Season 2 episode of Gotham will have the first appearance of Silver St. Cloud.

Season 2 of Fox’s Gotham will premiere on Monday, September 21, 2015 at 8PM EST.
