"She’s like this uncaged animal now. She’s been unleashed onto Gotham. I felt like I brought a lot of what I was going through as a person at the time, finding my real true self, like Barbara was finding her real true self.By killing her parents, she got rid of the last structure around her, or the pressure. She’s been released onto the world as this new, free being."
And what of Barbara’s feelings for Jim Gordon? Richards claims that’s Barbara’s whole motive. So how far will Barbara go to prove that she’s the only one for Jim? Probably to some disturbing lengths. We’ll find out when season two of Gotham starts on Fox September 21st!
