‘Batman v Superman v Social Network’ Mashup Trailer!

I can kinda see the logic behind casting Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor in Batman v Superman. He was a stoic sociopath and young tech genius turned billionaire in The Social Network. Fine. I’m with you in that sense. Sadly, that’s not really what we get in the BvS trailer. Eisenberg doesn’t seem to understand that subtlety is the better path over his over-the-top, hand-wringing super villain approach, but I’ll reserve final judgement until I see more.
YouTuber and writer David Elmaleh has cleverly crafted the latest fan made Batman v Superman trailer, mashing together the upcoming DC film with the underrated Social Network. You may just enjoy this.

Amusing coincidence: actor Armie Hammer played the Winklevii twins and just happened to be cast back in 2007 to play Batman in George Miller’s abandoned Justice League project. Rumor had it that film was going to be all motion capture, so the actor may not have been as important as you’d think, but it’s a tiny irony we can all enjoy.
