Meet Cosplayer Holly T. Wolf!

Welcome to another addition of Cosplay Spotlight. This week we have Holly T. Wolf, someone who is no stranger to the spotlight. The Toronto native was Playboy Playmate of the year in 2014, has modeled in FHM and is a world renowned cosplayer. From looking at her various cosplay photos, you would not think she has only been cosplaying for a year. I had the opportunity to chat with Holly in person at LA Cosplay Con, and I can tell you she is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met.

I had the opportunity to chat with Holly about her love for cosplay and where she will be popping up next!

Bam Smack Pow: Who or what inspired you to cosplay?

Holly Wolf: My friends! I started seeing some of my friends who were cosplaying. I always attended cons as a regular con goer, and totally loved the idea and took it from there!

What do you do when you aren’t cosplaying?

Playing video games! Haha I love to get caught up on my favorite franchises, and modeling of course! And I can’t forget, I try to get caught up on anime series!

Which character is your favorite to cosplay?

Kirito from Gun Gale Online. It’s his female avatar, and I just think he’s so badass! Also Lightning, she’s one of my favourite characters as well.

What costumes have provided the biggest challenge and rewards so far and why?

I would say my Catwoman. The feet were extremely hard to make. Lots of brain power went into crafting those bad boys.

What is the best advice you would give someone new to cosplaying?

Take your time, and always use Google and YouTube. Life savers right there.

Do you get to travel the country to different conventions? or are your local to one area?

I do get to travel! I model full time so it gives me the chance to travel more. I do my best to hit up cons in the areas I model in!

What con can fans expect to see you at next?

I am currently working on a cloud cosplay! It’s going to take me a while but I can’t wait for it to be done!
