A Whole New Circus Is Coming To Gotham
Although it’s only been through it’s first seasons. The Circus has already been a big part of Gotham. Not only did we meet the parents of Robin, the Flying Graysons but we were also introduced to possible future Joker Jerome. Now Gotham is teasing a whole new circus for season two.

The official Gotham twitter posted this cryptic tweet today:
There's a different kind of circus coming this fall. #Gotham pic.twitter.com/4UGWHkDwkl

So what does this mean? The tweet stresses a “different” circus coming to Gotham, so it’s probably not Haly’s circus. Could it be the fairgrounds of some new sinister villain? It could be any number of things. Like the circus Zatanna’s father Giovanni “John” Zatara performs at. I could totally see young Bruce Wayne getting some much needed advice & guidance from one of his father’s old friends. It could also be the home of Professor Pyg. Pyg is a newer Batman nemesis, but one that often uses the circus as a base of operations. It would be very feasible to have him appear in Gotham before there was a Batman. Hopefully we’ll find out soon, as Gotham’s season premiere is just weeks away on September 21st on Fox!
