The Flash: First Season 2 Promo Revealed

We don’t have a full trailer yet, but The CW has just released its first 10-second promo for Season 2 of The Flash. It’s got some exciting imagery and some things that might raise a few eyebrows.

Yep, we have a few action shots of a villain played by former WWE wrestler Edge, and a shot of a Flash signal? That’s right, it seems that our Scarlet Speedster is getting his own direct line. There’s no mention of a Bruce Wayne or Batman in this universe (we’ll just have to assume that he exists here), but I wonder what the billionaire has to say about that? Then again, there’s been some speculation that the image is a misdirection and the signal is actually from Earth 2 — the world inhabited by the Jay Garrick version of The Flash.

We’ll just have to wait for the full trailer to see if they give any more clues as to what the various cryptic images mean. On top of that, we should expect some high-octane action scenes that up the ante of what we’ve already experienced in The Flash‘s freshman season. We’re barely into late August, so keep your eyes peeled when the promos really start to roll in around early to mid-September.

The Flash Season 2 will premiere on The CW on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at 8:00PM EST.
