Extraordinary X-Men #1 Cosplay Variant
Part of the SoCal cosplay group Birds of ‘Play, Shafer is perhaps best known for her Phoenix cosplays, but she seems to have the time-displaced version of Jean Grey down just fine too. Shaffer and her partner in crime, Lauren Bergman, met in 2010, officially getting Birds of ‘Play off and flying during the 2011 San Diego Comic-Con.
SoCal is definitely a hotbed for the cosplay scene, so it’s no surprise that this group is represented in Marvel’s variant program.
