10 Worst Super Hero Movies Of All Time

Here at Bam Smack Pow, we take no sides when it comes to super movies. Marvel or DC, we want them all to be good. Not only are we big fans of plenty of characters from both companies, it’s better for everyone when the whole genre is firing on all cylinders.

We’ll also be the first to admit that not every super hero movie is good. Some of them have been quite terrible, as a matter of fact, the kind of fare that makes you wonder why you wasted the time and money to watch. It might be the minority of super hero flicks we’re talking about, but we can’t ignore them.
So we decided to dive into the deep end to identify the worst of the worst. Since we always try to add some pseudo-science to our rankings, we took a look at the movies’ scores on Rotten Tomatoes. But we also examined how much money they made at the box office, figuring that the surest way that fans express their true disdain for something is with their wallets.
Even that couldn’t take opinion out of the equation entirely, and fittingly for a list like this, our formula gave us a four-way tie for first … er, worst. All four movies were equally deserving of the shame that goes with being called the worst super hero movie of all time, but ultimately, the absurdly low box office take for our No. 1 film helped push it past the others.
