Watch The Arrow Season 4 Trailer Courtesy Of Stephen Amell
By Nick Tylwalk
Stephen Amell does not fail his fans. He tweeted out yesterday that the Arrow Season 4 trailer would debut on his Facebook page at 6 pm Eastern time this evening, and sure enough, that’s exactly what happened.

As you might expect, the trailer covers a lot of ground. It opens with a shot of #Olicity domestic bliss, with Oliver Queen returning from what appears like a leisurely jog and Felicity Smoak kind of, sort of cooking dinner. We hear Oliver’s doubt about whether he could ever be the Arrow again.
Of course, his city — renamed Star City in honor of Ray Palmer, who’s not actually dead, or at least we suspect he’s not — needs him, as do his teammates, who are up against foes that push even their skills to the limit. There are signs of friction with the newly costumed Diggle, but Oliver eventually takes up the bow again, just like we knew he would. Good thing too, because new Big Bad Damien Darkh (Neal McDonough) is making his presence felt.
At the end, Darkh wonders who the man in the green hoodie might be since the Arrow is dead. His answer? “You’re about to find out.”
We’ll have to wait a little longer to find out ourselves, though this trailer might at least fulfill our cravings for a while. Season 4 of Arrow begins on Wednesday, October 7 at 9 pm on The CW.
