The Killing Joke: A Dramatic Reading
The Killing Joke is considered one of the most essential Batman (or more appropriately Joker) stories of all time. It hasn’t been translated on to film in any portion just yet, but we will be getting an animated version of The Killing Joke next year.

Well, we can get some idea of what The Killing Joke will at least sound like on film with a dramatic reading of The Joker’s monologue from the graphic novel. The monologue itself, titled “The Emergency Exit”, is performed by actor/director Aaron Williams and is filmed in a very old school style and in black and white to add to the classic feel. While not spot on, Williams does a pretty close impression of Mark Hamill’s Joker voice (who will be playing the Joker in the upcoming animated feature).
