Wonder Woman: First On-Set Pics Show Chris Pine As Steve Trevor
By Steve Lam
Wonder Woman has started filming, and a new cast member, SaÏd Taghmaoui, has shared an image of him and Chris Pine, who’s playing Steve Trevor, via Instagram. This is obviously a scene from World War II as both are sporting the period’s fashion. The haircuts are also authentic as can be — with Pine showing a very prominent side-swept undercut.
Another image shows the chairs for each cast member — Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, and Saïd Taghmaoui.
Warner Bros. and everyone involved has been mum about the plot of the upcoming blockbuster, but recent rumors have stated that Ares will play a large behind-the-scenes role in the film. And the character of Circe, who will be controlled by Ares, will be the main villain for the Goddess of Truth.
Fans can catch their first glimpse of Wonder Woman in the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice where DC’s famed trinity will be seen, for the first time, together in live-action. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will be released in the United States on March 25, 2016 and will also star Henry Cavill as Clark Kent / Superman and Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne / Batman.
