First Look At Wonder Woman In Solo Film Revealed
By Steve Lam
This weekend’s craze may be all about Netflix’s Jessica Jones, but Gal Gadot couldn’t let Marvel’s female superhero have all the fun. Via her Twitter feed, Gadot shared with followers a first look at the grandest of all female superheroes — Wonder Woman — for the 2017 solo film.
Currently, principal photography is underway and filming has started in the United Kingdom.
Warner Bros. and everyone involved has been mum about the plot of the upcoming blockbuster, but recent rumors have stated that Ares will play a large behind-the-scenes role in the film. And the character of Circe, who will be controlled by Ares, will be the main villain for the Goddess of Truth.
Fans can catch their first glimpse of Wonder Woman in the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice where DC’s famed trinity will be seen, for the first time, together in live-action. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will be released in the United States on March 25, 2016 and will also star Henry Cavill as Clark Kent / Superman and Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne / Batman.
