Gotham Preview/Synopsis – S02E10 – “Rise Of The Villains: The Son Of Gotham”

On last week’s “A Bitter Pill to Swallow” episode of Fox’s Gotham, Tabitha attempted to avenge Theo’s arrest with the help of a few hitmen.  I’m saying “attempted” because Jim was able to keep all of them at bay.  Okay, he and Barnes basically took them all out sans for one Mr. Eduardo Flamingo which leads me to believe that Gotham will have him back on the show soon.

In other plot developments, Edward spent most of the episode trying to convince a distraught Penguin to teach him the ropes on how to be a killer.  In the end, Edward was able to sway Penguin to his view of the world, allowing the two to turn into their own version of a “dynamic duo.”

However, let’s not forget about Bruce, who, as always, was adamant in finding out the one responsible for his parents’ death.  This determination became even greater after Silver handed him a set of keys, something that we all know is manipulation on her part.  As always, the one standing in Bruce’s way is Alfred, who tries to keep Bruce from putting himself into any more dangerous situations.  Even though Alfred never wavered from his stance, Bruce was surprised that Selina showed up to help him.

What sort of damage can a combined Edward and Penguin do?  How will Theo execute his plan?  Perhaps this week’s episode will answer those questions.  Here’s the official synopsis for “Rise of the Villains: The Son of Gotham”:

"Gordon confronts a suspect who is connected to Galavan, but falls short of obtaining any information. Meanwhile, Bruce gets one step closer to discovering the name of his parent’s killer in the all-new “Rise of the Villains: The Son of Gotham” episode of GOTHAM airing Monday, Nov. 23 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (GTH-210) (TV-14; L, V) CC-AD-HDTV 720p-Dolby Digital 5.1"
