Only two episodes left before Gotham’s lengthy winter hiatus. If you thought things were insane already for the first half of the Rise Of The Villains, just wait til Monday when episode 10, “Son Of Gotham”.

Here’s the official synopsis for “Son Of Gotham”:

"Detective James Gordon (Ben McKenzie) confronts a suspect who is connected to Theo Galavan (James Frain), but falls short of obtaining any information. Meanwhile, Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) gets one step closer to discovering the name of his parent’s killer."

Now along with the synopsis, we have 3 new clips for your from this Monday’s episode. The first clip shows that faithful servant Alfred is desperately searching for Bruce Wayne’s whereabouts, even checking out Theo Galavan’s place. Where he also runs into Tabitha Galavan. Alfred and Tabitha have a pretty heated argument that involves much more than words:

This second clip shows Gordon & Bullock raiding a massage parlor where it appears somebody has been killed. But before they can even investigate, Gordon is attacked by a mysterious assailant:

And in this final clip from this Monday’s episode of Gotham, Gordon is giving a little history lesson to the still recovering Captain Barnes on the Order of St. Dumas and their connection to Gotham:

I’m really curious as to who will come out on top in the confrontation between Alfred and Tabitha. They both seem like the first test of each other’s skills in a long time. But where is Bruce Wayne? Is he just off with Silver St. Cloud somewhere? Or has something more sinister happened?

One thing’s for sure, with only two episodes left until the end of the season, look for some big moments to happen both in this episode and the mid-season finale. Will this be the end of Theo Galavan’s attempt at revenge on Gotham? Or will he actually succeed in his plans an drive Gotham further down it’s dark spiral?
