Fan Edits New Batman v Superman Trailer

A fan has put together an edited version of the new Batman v Superman trailer!

When the third (including the teaser) Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer aired on Jimmy Kimmel Live Wednesday night, the most widely-spread complaint was that it gave way too much away about the film.  Fans were upset that Doomsday was officially confirmed as the big bad, that Wonder Woman’s entrance was shown, that Batman and Superman resolving their conflict was highlighted, and that the trailer showed the first shot of DC’s Trinity on the big screen.  Another issue that fans had was simply with Jesse Eisenberg’s portrayal of Lex Luthor, but that’s not really a problem with the trailer specifically.

I have no problem with any of those things.  I’m in love with the trailer that was released.  The only two small complaints that I have are that I wasn’t a huge fan of the music (which is fine, because it’s not like it’s from the actual movie soundtrack) and that I would’ve preferred not to have seen that epic shot of the Trinity together until I was actually sitting in the theater.  However, YouTube user Kevin O’Fee was privy to the concerns of quite a few Bat-fans, and he put together an edited version of the trailer:

This trailer omitted much of Lex Luthor’s dialogue.  While hinting at Luthor’s creation of Doomsday, it doesn’t actually show the monster himself.  It does show Wonder Woman, but it doesn’t reveal her dramatic entrance nor does it show the Trinity together.  Now, I still am partial to the official trailer.  I didn’t think it really spoiled anything, because we had been speculating for months that the villain would probably be Doomsday and it’s also not like anyone thought that Batman and Superman weren’t going to resolve their conflict in this film.  However, if you were disappointed by the original, this edited version could be right up your alley.
