When the official PG-13 rating was revealed for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, one of the stand-out descriptions for the film was that it was that there was “sensuality.”  Could a scene between Bruce Wayne and Diana Prince contributed to the rating?  If so, it’s rather ridiculous because the relationship between these two has been explored in the comics and animation.

• In the comics — JLA #80 (June 2003) and JLA #90 (January 2004) — Bruce Wayne and Diana Prince briefly dated, but nothing else was further explored in the relationship.
• Batman and Wonder Woman had a flirtatious relationship in the DC Animated Universe shows Justice League and Justice League Unlimited.  The characters’ attraction to each other was due to the shows’ creators not liking the pairing of Wonder Woman with Superman.
