Hot Toys has officially put up their Batman v Superman set of figures for pre-order at Sideshows Collectibles. These are of course based on the upcoming Batman v Superman film. The Batman & Superman figures are sold separately, but hey, why not get the complete set with special extras? What, you don’t have a spare $445? Don’t worry, like most super-expensive toys, you can pay in installments!
Here’s the official Batman v Superman set site description:
"This movie-accurate Batman collectible figure is specially crafted based on the image of Ben Affleck as Batman from the film and features a newly developed masked head sculpt with 3 interchangeable eye parts and lower faces, a newly developed body which can naturally portray Batman’s muscular look, meticulously tailored Batsuit, detailed Batman gadgets, and a specially designed Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice themed figure stand. These figures don’t even ship until somewhere between July and September of next year, so you can certainly wait and see if Batman v Superman is the kind of film that warrants you spending several hundred dollars on these admittedly pretty damn good-looking toys. Or maybe just one will be worth getting (and in that case it’s Batman and you know it).
