Suicide Squad: Ike Barinholtz Is Still A Mystery

We still don’t know many of Suicide Squad’s secrets, including who Ike Barinholtz is playing in the film

Suicide Squad is now seven months away. Seems like an a long wait, but we of course have already seen tons of info about the film. I’m not even talking about the almost daily deluge of leaked photos and footage that went on for weeks. There’s also been numerous articles and interviews on and about Suicide Squad since then, along with that footage from this year’s San Diego Comic Con.

And yet, there is still plenty of mystery behind Suicide Squad. One of the biggest parts of that mystery is Ike Barinholtz. Mostly known as a comedic actor, his role in Suicide Squad has been kept under very tight wraps, and we haven’t seen him in any official footage or leaked photos. Ike Barinholtz still isn’t talking about who he is in the film, but it may not be who you are thinking of:

"I have David Ayer in my head being like, ‘I’m going to kill you if you say anything. I can say it’s probably not who you think it is. I can say that he’s definitely someone that people will not like, and he is someone who likes to really mess with people — likes to really hurt people and F them up."

Well, since the popular theory seems to be that Barinholtz is playing DC’s other top assassin, Deadshot, maybe that means Deadshot is not in Suicide Squad (hell maybe he’s Riddler, that might fit for a more comedic actor).

Next: New Suicide Squad Trailer Coming January 19th

Will we find out when the new Suicide Squad trailer debuts on that DC network special on The CW January 19th? My guess is no. If they’ve kept his role a secret this long, we probably will have to wait until we actually see Suicide Squad in theaters in August to find out who Barinholtz is actually playing.
