Daredevil, Batman V Superman Both Releasing March 25?
By Nick Tylwalk
It looks like the Man Without Fear and the World’s Finest might be heading our way on the exact same way.
While it’s not exactly the same thing as Marvel and Warner Bros. releasing superhero movies on the same day, if reports are to be believed, it could be the next closest thing. Citing independent sources, Comicbook.com says that it has learned that Daredevil Season 2 will debut on March 25 on Netflix; so far the only hard info we have about that series is that it will return sometime in March.
You’ve probably already got that date circled on your calendar since it’s also when Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice arrives in theaters. Though the film can begin screenings at 7 pm the night before — which is probably when most of us amped up comic book fans are planning on seeing it — that’s still awfully close to when Daredevil will allegedly hit Netflix at midnight Pacific time.
Adding to the intrigue is the fact that Batman v Superman was originally slated for a May 6 release date, but after Marvel announced Captain America: Civil War for that same day, Warner Bros. decided to move its film up to March.
Still, this isn’t really an issue of anything going “head to head” as some are characterizing it, as much as it will mean one smorgasbord of superhero entertainment over one weekend in late March. I can picture plenty of fans heading to see Batman v Superman and then spending Saturday and Sunday binge-watching Season 2 of Daredevil.

As for me, I’ll plan on hitting the theater and then rushing home to nap so I can wake up and start on Daredevil at 3 am Eastern. It’s rough to have to take in so much superhero stuff for work, but I’ll manage!
