New Suicide Squad Trailer

The first official Suicide Squad trailer aired during tonight’s Dawn Of The Justice League Special on The CW

It’s finally here! The first real official Suicide Squad Trailer has premiered, and it features tons of footage we’ve never seen before!

Set quite well to Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody,the trailer introduces us to all the primary members of the Squad and giving us the first real footage of Cara Delevingne as Enchantress and Margot Robbie actually talking as Harley Quinn as well as footage of nearly every single member of the Squad. My one teeny tiny complaint about the trailer is that we really don’t see much of Jared Leto as the Joker, because his performance might be the biggest and most important question mark of Suicide Squad and the future of the Joker. We got a good taste of that in the San Diego Comic Con footage released last year, so I’m pretty confident he has the role down.

This is the first time we really get to see Margot Robbie deliver lines as Harley Quinn, and I think she’s delightful, very much looking forward to her performance in the film. No one else gets a ton of time to show off their characters, but everyone looked interesting and fun.

Bottom line, this trailer makes Suicide Squad look like an incredibly fun movie. I currently am much more excited for this than Batman v Superman. I will be anxiously awaiting it’s release in theaters August 5th.
