See The First Pic Of Live-Action Vixen On Arrow
By Nick Tylwalk
We already knew that Vixen would be moving from her animated debut to live-action form as she joins the heroes on Arrow later this season, but now thanks to DC Entertainment, we also knows what she’ll look like.
DC released the image above on Twitter today showing Megalyn Echikunwoke as Mari McCabe, better known as Vixen. True to the comics, she’ll be going sans mask, and her overall costume design fits her animal-based powers while also suggesting just a tad of cross-company influence (meaning Wolverine).

Vixen is set to make her first appearance on Arrow during episode 15, which on the show’s current pace should hit sometime around late February. She’s already met both Green Arrow and the Flash in her own short-form animated series on CW Seed, and since her powers are mystical in nature, she could be just what Team Arrow needs to help fight the increasingly powerful and unnatural foes they’ve encountered during Season 4.
We’ll get you all set with the title and synopsis of her first episode once they’re released. Echikunwoke certainly looks the part, and Mari looks like she means business, so we’re anxious to see what she adds to the show.
