Batman v Superman: Of Course Superman Wins
Henry Cavill lays out the obvious victor in Batman v Superman, but that’s not what the movie is about
Who will win in Batman v Superman? I mean, there’s been a little debate, but it’s kind of obvious who would win, and that ultimately that is not what the movie is even really about. It’s not going to end with one superhero triumphantly beating the hell out of another superhero. In case you need it, Henry Cavill, who plays Batman in Batman v Superman, lays it out for you.
"It’s not about one on one. Of course Superman is going to win. But it’s deeper than that. It’s more that these two great powers exist and are actually trying to achieve the same thing, but in such different way…"
Cavill goes on to talk about how Superman has changed since the events of Man Of Steel and how his philosophy of carrying out justice clashes with Batman’s:
"He’s more used to this gig, doing his best to save as many lives as he can. He is no longer frantic. He’s no longer a wet behind the ears kind of superhero. He doesn’t agree with his form of justice. For this farm boy, who tries to do things the right way, justice at any cost is not something he can come to terms with."

Yeah, I hate to break it to you guys, but baring some convoluted ridiculousness, Superman would crush Batman, no matter how many toys he’s got at his disposal. The one time he has legitimately beat the hell out of Superman, it took a nuclear missile AND a Kryptonite arrow along with his trusty power suit. Cavill may be just be playing cocky, but we already saw a scene in the trailers where the Batmobile bounces off Superman like it’s nothing and then he rips it apart like a little wooden toy. See Batman ineffectually try to kill Superman before the become allies to fight a greater foe when Batman v Superman opens March 25th.
