Gal Godot thought she was auditioning for a different DC super-heroine for Batman v Superman

Gal Godot will be the first onscreen live action representation of Wonder in decades in Batman v Superman. Maybe she was born to play this role. But when she auditioned for Batman v Superman, she initially thought it was for a completely different character.

"I mean, I could have guessed. I thought it was going to be Selina (Kyle), you know?I only knew what role it was when I flew in to test with Ben (Affleck). I was very excited. Anytime I had general meetings in LA, I always said that my dream role was to do an empowered, independent woman who doesn’t rely on men."

Granted,  I think Gal Godot would have been a fine Catwoman, and having Catwoman in Batman v Superman would be cool, but for an epic throwdown between the two most iconic heroes in the DC universe that she may have to break up at some point and a fight with Doomsday, you pretty much need the most powerful woman in DC comics, and that is without a doubt Wonder Woman. It still remains to be seen what and how big a role she will play though. Will she seemed forcefully shoehorned into the film like it seems in the Batman v Superman trailers we have seen so  far? I certainly hope not. We will find out for certain when Batman v Superman opens in theaters March 23rd.
