Arrow Season 4, Episode 15 Synopsis: Taken
By Nick Tylwalk
Liam Neeson guest stars on a very special episode of Arrow! Just kidding. There’s nothing funny about what’s really going on in Season 4, episode 15, because it’s someone very close to Oliver Queen who’s been “Taken.”

If you’ve been watching, you already know it was William Clayton, Oliver’s son, who’s been kidnapped from his mother Samantha and delivered to the house of Damien Darhk himself. That’s the dirtiest bit of pool from this season’s Big Bad to date, even nudging past the limo attack that left Felicity Smoak injured. It also goes without saying that this is Samantha’s nightmare brought to life and the reason she wanted William insulated from the world of the Green Arrow in the first place.
But while we won’t be seeing Neeson (at least as far as we know!), there will be help arriving in the form of Vixen. Mari McCabe’s powers are mystical in nature and might be exactly what Team Arrow needs to counteract the might of Darhk.
Here’s the official synopsis for “Taken” from The CW:
"Oliver (Stephen Amell) realizes he needs help battling Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough) so he calls in an old friend – Vixen (guest star Megalyn E.K.). Using her magical ability to summon animal powers, Vixen gets a lock on Darhk’s location and the team goes to war. Meanwhile, Thea (Willa Holland) has a heart-to-heart talk with Malcolm (John Barrowman)."
Too much has happened over the middle part of Season 4 for Malcolm Merlyn not to remain a big part of the proceedings. He’s in league in some way with Darhk, though the true scope and nature of the group of people both villains are working with has yet to be fully revealed.
