The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl Getting Her Own Graphic Novel

The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl is one of a number of breakout female heroes Marvel has had as of late, but the first who is going to star in her own Original Graphic Novel.
It must be me.
That must be why I just haven’t been able to understand why a book like The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl has become such a hit. Is it because I’m a guy? Too old? The wrong demographic? It must be something because while I’m busy reading Batman and Uncanny Inhumans, all everyone can talk about is Squirrel Girl and what an amazing book it is.
Done in the same style as Batgirl and having already inspired the forthcoming Unbelievable Gwenpool, Squirrel Girl has developed a hardcore fanbase that cannot get enough of Doreen Green and her wacky adventures. So it should come as welcome news that the character will be getting her very own Original Graphic Novel come October.

The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl Beats Up The Marvel Universe will be done by the same creative team that handles her ongoing title, Ryan North and Erica Henderson and will she her face off against her deadliest threat yet: herself!
