Gotham: When Fish Mooney Returns!

The vengeful return of Fish Mooney is happening soon on Gotham!

Jada Pinkett Smith as mob boss Fish Mooney was easily one of the best parts of the first season of Gotham. Though she “died” at the end of season one, it was in one of the most ambiguous ways possible, so there was certainly a possibility (and hope of fans) that she would be back. Although when Smith herself revealed she was only contracted for one season of Gotham, it appeared she may never come back.

Then of course we learned that Jada Pinkett Smith would be coming back to Gotham as the previously thought dead Fish Mooney, but even if you didn’t read that, you most certainly say her body in containment at Indian Hill. Now that Hugo Strange has actually succeeded in reviving the dead, it only seems like a matter of time until Fish Mooney is back on the streets of Gotham. But when?

Well that would be the May 16th episode of Gotham, titled “A Legion Of Horribles”. Here is the description:

"Hugo Strange welcomes a familiar face to GOTHAM after he resurrects Fish Mooney in Indian Hill. Later, Bruce discovers a friend is in danger and teams up with Gordon, Alfred and Lucius, while uncovering more of Strange’s experiments."

It should be noted that the season finale of Gotham is set to air on May 23rd, so “A Legion of Horribles” is the second to last episode of the season, and events from that will most likely carry into the season finale itself.
