Gotham: Bruce Wants To Cross The Line
Bruce is frustrated with trying o do things “the right way” on Gotham
Bruce Wayne has grown a lot in the second season of Gotham. He’s become more fearless, learned the art of deception, and has had lots of physical training. He’s even made massive progress on finding who ordered the murder of his parents. But that’s where things are hitting a wall. Hugo Strange probably killed Bruce Wayne’s parents, and has done god knows what to how many others. Bruce Wayne and James Gordon wants to stop him. Gordon wants him arrested, but he is lacking any concrete evidence. Being so close and yet so far from getting justice, Bruce wants to do it another way, as shown in this clip from the next episode of Gotham:

Well, he’s got you there Jim. How are you supposed to tell him this isn’t the way when that’s exactly what you did with Theo Galavan? As I said earlier, Bruce has done a lot of growing this season, getting closer and closer to his destiny as Batman. I won’t be one of those people who state Batman never kills. He’s killed before, in some of his best stories. But he doesn’t set out with the intention of murdering anyone, that’s a line Batman doesn’t cross. I thought Bruce had learned not to cross that line when he confronted his parents’ killer, Matches Malone, but he still seems to think when the law fails, straight up murder is the answer. Though I bet he’ll learn that there are other better ways to catch criminals, most of Gotham’s worst villains have ended up dead so far. Will Hugo Strange survive the season even if it’s not Bruce who kills him? You’ll have to watch Gotham Mondays on Fox to find out!
