Leviathan” — the thirteenth episode of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow had the team traveling to 2166 to make a last stand against Vandal Savage (strange, they’ve had quite a few last stands already). They soon discover that one of his female soldiers holds a bracelet that can be used as a weapon to kill him

Kidnapping the female soldier and bringing her on board the Waverider, the Legends find out that she’s Cassandra Savage — Vandal’s daughter. She’s been brought up to believe that her father is a good man fighting evil. Leonard soon shows her evidence that Vandal was the one who brought about genocide via Per Degaton’s virus.

Cassandra agrees to help the Legends and leads them back to her father’s headquarters. When Vandal greets her, he realizes that his daughter has turned on him — all based on her not having her bracelet anymore. Kendra and the team attack him, with Kendra getting the upper hand.

Vandal soon reveals that one of his loyal soldiers is the reincarnated Carter. Before Carter realized he had a past life, Vandal brainwashed him. If Kendral kills Vandal, Carter’s mind would be lost forever. Kendra finally decides not to kill Vandal in the hopes that he’ll deprogram Carter.

This week, we’ll see how the Legends will proceed with Vandal. After multiple attempts at capturing him, they finally succeed. But will the end of the mission mean the end of the team? Here’s the official synopsis for “River of Time”:

"After numerous attempts in many different time periods, the team has successfully captured Vandal Savage (guest star Casper Crump). However, Savage tells Kendra (Ciara Renée) that he can reunite her with Carter (Falk Hentschel) so she struggles with whether she should kill him. Rip (Arthur Darvill) decides they will deliver Savage to the Time Masters which doesn’t sit well with Snart (Wentworth Miller) and Rory (Dominic Purcell). The duo decides it may be time to jump ship and return to their old life. Meanwhile, Savage taunts Ray (Brandon Routh) about his place in Kendra’s life."
