#3 – A Highway Fight
From: Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)
While transporting the corrupt SHIELD agent Sitwell via car, Steve Rogers, Sam Wilson, and Natasha Romanoff are attacked by the Winter Soldier on the highway. The Winter Soldier first kills Sitwell by dragging him out and tossing him over the divider and onto an oncoming truck. Soon, the attention is turned to our heroes.
The team battles the Winter Soldier while speeding through traffic with an enemy car on their tail, ramming them. Steve saves the team by creating a makeshift skid plate by combining his shield with the passenger-side car door. When Steve rises, a rocket hits his shield, throwing him clear from the overpass and into a bus driving in the city streets below.
The fight soon spills to the general population where numerous soldiers release a barrage of bullets against the team. The Winter Soldier follows and is first tricked by Natasha’s fake recording. When she attacks, he easily overpowers her, sending her on the run and shooting her in the arm.
Steve comes in for the rescue and engages the Winter Soldier in hand-to-hand combat. At one point, the Winter Soldier takes out a knife, but Steve is able to parry away multiple strikes with his quick reflexes and speed. In a final move, Steve overpowers the Winter Soldier and flips him, tearing off his mask. As the visage of his thought-to-be-dead best friend is revealed, a shocked Steve could only mutter the name, “Bucky?”
