#21 – Captain America vs. Ultron: A Lesson in Determination
From: Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)
The Avengers make a trip to South Korea when they locate Ultron’s next target — an incubation cradle, a tomb-like chamber that contains the future body of Vision. Taking a daring leap off a bridge, Captain America lands right on the truck carrying the precious cargo. Ultron, who’s already on the truck, gets wind of this and attempts to blast the Avenger off the vehicle.
But it’s not easy getting rid of a super-soldier who’s determined to fight evil at all costs. Captain America, with his amazing agility, swings around the truck and back onto its roof — eventually facing off with the evil automaton. Throwing his boomerang vibranium shield, Captain America is able to temporarily get some hits in. However, Ultron takes his shield and throws it to the ground.
It isn’t until Black Widow, on an all-electric Harley (hey, who says you can’t be green while fighting evil), grabs the iconic shield and sends it back to its owner. Captain America once again gets an upper hand, only to be thrown off the truck. Ultron then tries to crush Captain America by blasting the vehicles around him. Performing an amazing array of sprints and somersaults, the First Avenger launches his way back onto the truck.
